Why do I need a pay stub?
When applying to join retail employee teams on ExpertVoice, providing a pay stub is often required to verify your employment. Even if you receive your pay electronically through direct deposit, you can still access a digital pay stub through your company’s Payroll, Time Clock or HR system.
What is a pay stub?
A pay stub is a document that details your earnings, including the pay period dates, hours worked and deductions such as taxes and withholdings.
How to access your pay stub:
If you’re having trouble locating your pay stub within your company’s system, follow these steps:
- Check your payroll or HR system: Most companies provide digital pay stubs through their Payroll or HR platforms.
- Contact your manager or HR department: If you’re still unable to find it, reach out to your manager or HR team for assistance.
Alternative documents for qualification:
If you have trouble accessing your pay stub, some retail teams on ExpertVoice may accept other official official credentials to verify your team, such as:
- A recent pay statement (please redact sensitive information)
- An official ID card (must clearly show expiration dates)
- A license or certificate relevant to your team
- An official letter from your employer on company letterhead
- A verified work email address (If you have trouble verifying your email, you can open your application and upload an official credential instead).
These credentials help confirm your eligibility so you can join your team on ExpertVoice and access exclusive brand deals.
