How to apply
Step 1: Start your application
- Visit ExpertVoice.com or download the ExpertVoice app.
- Click “Join Now” to begin the sign-up process.
Step 2: Enter your information
- Fill out basic details on the Qualify page.

Verify your email address.
- A military, law enforcement or fire department email is NOT required, but using one may help you get verified faster.
- You must have access to the official email to complete verification via the confirmation email.
- Confirm your location.
- Enter your birthdate.
Step 3: Find your team

Search or select your industry:
- Military
- Law Enforcement
- Fire, EMT & First Responders

Select the correct team based on your role. Examples include:
- Military: Army, Air Force, Navy, Military Spouses, etc.
- Law Enforcement: Police, Officer, Tactical Personnel, Retired Officers, etc.
- Fire, EMT & First Responders: Firefighters, EMTs, Search & Rescue, Retired First Responders, etc.
Important: Rather than searching for your specific local department (county, city or state), apply under the broader industry.
Step 4: Verify with an official email address (if applicable)

- You must have access to the official email to complete verification via the confirmation email.

Click “Verify Another Way” if you don’t have one to submit an official credential instead.
Step 5: Verify another way (if applicable)

Upload one of the following accepted documents to verify your eligibility:
- A recent pay statement (please redact sensitive information)
- An updated certificate relevant to your profession
- A copy of your official ID card (must clearly show expiration dates)
- A letter from your supervisor on company letterhead confirming your employment status

If you have trouble verifying with an official email, you can submit another accepted credential instead. Simply open your application and upload one of the documents listed above.
Veterans, Retired, Reserve Members & Military Spouses: How to apply

Military Veteran or Reserve:
- First, select your appropriate military branch when applying (Army, Air Force, Navy, Military Spouses, etc.)
- Then, choose your status: Veteran, Retired or Reserve.
- If you are in the Reserves, select “Reserve” when prompted after selecting your branch.
- For Military Spouses:
- Submit official documents that include your name & military spouse status

Law Enforcement and Fire, EMT & First Responders:

Select “Retired” as your position when applying.

Select “Retired” as your position when applying.
Accepted verification documents for Veterans & Retired Members:
- DD214 showing Box 24 (with sensitive information redacted)
- VA benefits card
- Retired ID card
- Drivers License with Veteran designation
- Official retirement document or proof of service
