What qualifications can I use to join a team on ExpertVoice?

When applying to join a team on ExpertVoice, it's important to provide the correct credentials to ensure your application is approved. 

 

How to submit qualifications: 

1. Review the application requirements

  • Each team has specific requirements. Carefully read the application details and submit the requested official credential that verifies your eligibility.

2. Gather and upload your qualification 

  • The best way to submit your official credential is by uploading it directly in your application—no email needed! 

Choose one of the following:

    • A recent pay statement (redact any sensitive information before submitting)
    • An updated certificate relevant to your profession
    • A copy of your official ID card (must clearly show expiration dates)
    • A verified employee email address
    • A letter from your supervisor on official company letterhead confirming your employment status

3. If additional information is needed

  • If your initial submission isn’t sufficient, you’ll receive a message requesting more details. You can respond and upload a different official credential in the “Messages” section of your application.

4. Email Verification

  • For some teams, you can apply using an official email address. After applying, you’ll receive an email with a link to verify your email address.
  • If you have trouble verifying your email, you can open your application and upload an official credential instead. 

Choose one of the following:

  • Unexpired law enforcement ID card; pay stub within last 30 days.

Shooting Sports Instructors
  • CQB certificate; any other certificate that indicates applicant is a certified shooting instructor.

NRA Instructors
  • Unexpired NRA Instructor card

Hunting and Fishing Guides and Outfitters
  • Pay stub within last 30 days; hunting or fishing guide license; anything that indicates that they are a guide (including a website, certificate, etc.).

U.S. Army
  • Official email address, LES, DD214, ERB, ORB, VA Card etc. Please Black-out ALL sensitive information (including any OPSEC information).

U.S. Air Force
  • Official email address, LES, DD214, ERB, ORB, VA Card etc. Please Black-out ALL sensitive information (including any OPSEC information).
U.S. Marines
  • Official email address, LES, DD214, ERB, ORB, VA Card etc. Please Black-out ALL sensitive information (including any OPSEC information).
U.S. Navy
  • Official email address, LES, DD214, ERB, ORB, VA Card etc. Please Black-out ALL sensitive information (including any OPSEC information).

U.S. Coast Guard
  • Official email address, LES, DD214, ERB, ORB, VA Card etc. Please Black-out ALL sensitive information (including any OPSEC information).

Fire and Rescue
  • Unexpired ID card; pay stub within the last 30 days; Signed Red Card, EMT certificate

Forest Service
  • USFS letter; BLM ID card; Red Card, pay stub within the last 30 days.

Special Operations Forces
  • SF tab; Seals certificate; SERE certificate

U.S. Department of Interior
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

State Parks & Natural Resources
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

Peace Corps
  • Copy of email from the Peace Corps

Canadian Army
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

Commercial Airlines Pilots and Operations
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

Canadian Air Force
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

Canadian Navy
  • ID card or pay stub within the last 30 days

Vail Resorts Employees
  • Vail Employee Name & Number
IRONMAN Triathletes 
  • Proof of completion of the full 140.6-mile race within the past three years or have ever participated in the Pro Series
World Marathon Major Finishers
  • Proof of completion of at least one or more of the World Marathon Majors in the past three years or hold the distinction of being a Six Star finisher  
Big Three Thru-Hikers 
  • Submit a copy of your official completion certificate of conquering one of the Big Three National Scenic Trails with the past three years
Ultra Runners
  • Submit proof of participation of one or more of the ultra marathons within the past three years
